News about Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster’s romance have spread fast after they were seen hand in hand in New York early this year. Now, there are claims that the rumored couple are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
The Deadpool & Wolverine actor and his alleged ladylove, according to reports, were spotted touring a luxury $4.8 million mansion in Malibu, California, which led to speculations that they are moving in together.
“Hugh’s going full steam ahead on his romance with Sutton. They’re house hunting on both sides of the country—he wants to upgrade into Bedford on the East Coast, but they’re also looking for somewhere away from their family commitments and Los Angeles is the most obvious choice,” an unnamed source told Woman’s Day Australia.
The insider added that, while Jackman has always been based in New York, it makes sense for Foster to have more access to the opportunities Hollywood has to offer after she continues to build her career there.
Foster’s recent performance in Once Upon a Mattress was received to great acclaim in Hollywood, where Jackman was seen proudly watching on in the audience.
“There is no doubt her relationship has also opened a plethora of doors and having the perfect love nest in LA gives her the best of both worlds,” the informant further told the entertainment news outlet.
Though the rumored couple might consider basing in California for work, Jackman and Foster will have to keep a base in New York, where the actor’s adopted children with former wife Deborra-Lee Furness—Oscar and Ava—and the actress’ adopted daughter Emily reside.
“The exciting part for Hugh is he gets another shot at being a dad to a little kid again with Foster’s daughter. Hugh has zero intention of walking away from his own kids. Ava and Oscar are his whole world,” the tattler shared.
“Things are difficult as he wants to be open with them about his plans but he knows he needs to take it slow so they can adjust to this new life. He and Sutton are doing all they can to be patient and be measured in their approach, but as you can see, he’s like a crazy teenager in love,” the mole went on.
One problem that’s getting in their way is the fact that Jackman is yet to file for divorce from Furness. Daily Mail even reported that the ex-lovebirds could be headed for a messy divorce since their decision not to sign a prenup agreement has become a point of contention.
Jackman and Furness reportedly thought it would be forever when they tied the knot. At the time, neither of them expected the actor’s career to get as big as it has. Since there is no prenup and Jackman made a fortune during their marriage, the divorce is not going to be cut and dry.
“There’s a huge amount of money involved,” the source suggested. It is believed that Jackman and Furness have a combined fortune worth $250 million.
Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have yet to comment on the claims that they are moving in together. So, avid followers of the Broadway stars should take all these unverified reports with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
