Tom Cruise failed to woo Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba back in the day. However, now that she is back on the market following her split from Cash Warren, the Top Gun star is allegedly ready to take another shot.
Sources suggested that the former husband of Katie Holmes tried to make a love connection with Jessica in 2004 with no luck. At the time, the Church of Scientology poster boy was single and looking to meet someone and apparently, he did try and get set up with her, but it never went anywhere.
“She met Cash right around the same time and he managed to lock her down. Tom’s always been disappointed that he lost out because he really thinks Jessica is the total package,” the anonymous insider told Globe Magazine.
Since his tragic split from Katie in 2012, Tom has struggled to find love again. So, he’s hoping Jessica could be the answer to his lonely prayers. Looking back, Nicole Kidman’s ex-lover cannot help wondering if Jessica would have been better suited to him all along.
“It’s not just because she’s gorgeous; he really admires her work ethic. What she’s managed to build with her Honest Company is so impressive to him, he can’t help feeling they’d have a lot in common, since he’s so ambitious himself,” the informant claimed.
Tom, according to the mole, has had the chance to meet Jessica a few times and every time he’s been so impressed by how intelligent and well-spoken she is.
“She’s way more than a pretty face. So, he’s absolutely going to give it another try, and he’s hoping the timing will be right this time around,” the tattler stated.
Tom Cruise has yet to comment on the claims that he is trying to re-woo Jessica Alba now that she is single again. So, avid followers of the Mission: Impossible actor should take all these unverified claims with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
To recall, Jessica took to Instagram to confirm that she and Cash have parted ways after 17 years of marriage.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals,” the Trigger Warning star wrote.
Jessica and Cash now co-parent their children Hayes, Haven Garner and Honour Marie. They tied the knot on May 19, 2008.
