Netflix’s high-octane spy thriller The Night Agent is back in action as production for Season 3 officially begins. The hit series, which soared to record-breaking viewership numbers in its debut season, is now taking its global espionage storyline to new heights. But while fans are eager for The Night Agent Season 3, the latest update suggests they may have to wait longer than expected.

The Night Agent Season 3 Expands Globally With Intense Action

Filming for The Night Agent Season 3 is already underway, with the cast and crew kicking things off in Istanbul before returning to New York. According to series creator Shawn Ryan, this season will span multiple major locations, including Washington, D.C., and Mexico City. Ryan confirmed that the production team has already shot some of their “biggest and most spectacular” scenes to date, promising an action-packed season that builds on the high-stakes world of The Night Agent.

Lead actor Gabriel Basso, who plays Peter Sutherland, shared behind-the-scenes footage from the set, highlighting the excitement among the cast and crew. He described the energy on set as electric, emphasizing that everyone is eager to bring a bigger and better season to fans.

The Night Agent Season 3 Cast Gets Major Upgrades

Basso will reprise his role as the fearless Night Agent, leading an expanded cast that includes Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ward Horton, and Albert Jones as newly promoted series regulars. Returning fan favorites include David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison, Stephen Moyer, and Genesis Rodriguez. Additionally, Callum Vinson and Suraj Sharma are joining The Night Agent Season 3, further elevating the ensemble.

Netflix has high hopes for The Night Agent Season 3, given the show’s massive success. The first season became Netflix’s most-watched series of 2023, garnering 98.2 million views within 91 days. It dominated Netflix’s Top 10 charts in 87 countries and held the No. 1 spot on the Global Top 10 for four weeks straight.

When Will The Night Agent Season 3 Premiere?

Despite the buzz surrounding The Night Agent Season 3, Netflix has yet to announce an official release date. Given Netflix’s typical production timeline, a 2025 release is possible, but delays could push it into early 2026.

While fans wait, The Night Agent Season 2 is currently available for streaming, continuing Peter Sutherland’s journey as he navigates the deadly world of covert government operations. With new threats, betrayals, and high-stakes missions ahead, The Night Agent Season 3 is set to deliver another thrilling chapter in Netflix’s action-packed franchise.
