Justin Baldoni claimed in a legal filing that he felt pressured by Taylor Swift to bow to the demands of her BFF, Blake Lively. The Gossip Girl actress reportedly compared herself to Khaleesi of Game of Thrones, saying, “Like her, I happen to have a few dragons!”

Blake allegedly texted Justin after he complimented her tweaks to the It Ends with Us movie and insisted she would have done so without the ideas of “Ryan and Taylor,” who are believed to be Ryan Reynolds, her husband, and Taylor, her BFF of more than a decade.

“For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine,” Blake’s alleged text message read.

Justin divulged that he interpreted those messages as a threat. He also revealed this in a $400 million lawsuit filed against Blake, Ryan, and their publicist on January 16, alleging them of extortion and defamation.

The complaint states, “he was also facing two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world, who were not afraid to make things very difficult for him.”

For her part, Blake had also filed a lawsuit in December against Justin and the film’s producers. The All I See Is You star accused them of launching a smear campaign to counter her claims of sexual harassment.

Justin has since released uncut footage of them filming and has announced he soon plans to release plans to release more, alongside their correspondence, in an attempt to “quash” Blake’s claims.

“The battle just keeps getting uglier. It’s shocking that Taylor was actually named in the papers,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.

Justin claimed he first met Blake’s “Famous and famously close friend” after being “summoned” to a meeting at the A Simple Favor star’s apartment at the Big Apple. Ryan and Taylor praised Blake’s work on the script, so much so that Justin “felt obligated” to send a text message of his approval.

Blake allegedly referenced Taylor in a lengthy response. Without naming Taylor, the Hick actress said her “friend” and Ryan “have established themselves as absolute titans as writers and storytellers outside of their primary gig—just singing or just acting or just directing.”

She added that they are her “most trusted partners and the people I go to first with anything creative I tough. I think they wanted you to see how they felt about the work because they had been by my side for so too many experiences where I’ve been overlooked.”

Taylor has undoubtedly had Blake’s back for a decade. The pair has always publicly supported each other. Travis Kelce’s girlfriend is also a godparent to Blake and Ryan’s kids.
