Princess Kate’s message at her successful royal carol concert at Westminster Abbey centered on the importance of forgiveness and love. However, some palace courtiers found the Princess of Wales’ address “ironic,” given that she does not have a good relationship with her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.
It is claimed that many senior royals are still deeply hurt by Prince Harry’s dirty antics, which, through TV interviews, various court cases, and his memoir, damaged the royal family’s reputation. But most of them believe it would not have happened without Meghan.
In particular, Prince William was displeased by the barbs hurled at Princess Kate—by both Prince Harry and Meghan.
In a Netflix documentary, Prince Harry suggested that some members of the royal family may marry someone who fits a mold rather than someone they are destined to be with, sparking speculation that he was referring to his sister-in-law, Princess Kate.
However, most royal fans think that the most damaging allegation against Princess Kate was Meghan’s “racism” accusation.
It has been claimed that Prince Harry and Prince William have not spoken to each other since the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth. The Prince of Wales also did not tell his brother that Princess Kate had cancer before she announced it to the world.
The Sussex camp confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan sent a private get well soon message to Princess Kate, but it was “unreciprocated.” Given that the mom of three had just started chemotherapy and was struggling to hold everything together for their young family, this briefing allegedly did not sit well with Prince William.
Despite 2024 being a brutal year for Princess Kate, all the challenges she has faced gave her a new perspective. Indeed, she has given so much more importance to “kindness and forgiveness.” However, close pals of the Princess of Wales have also wondered if it could mean a thawing in relations with Prince Harry.
“It has always been Catherine who has gently tried to soften William’s very hard stance against his younger brother. She values family above all else—her children, husband and the Middleton family have been the rock which has get her through this extremely tough year,” an unnamed source told Woman UK.
“Prince Harry is Prince William’s only brother and despite everything that has been said and done, she believes that blood is thicker than water. Prince Harry and Meghan said some pretty awful things about Prince William and Princess Kate, but she does believe that love and forgiveness can conquer all,” it went on.
