Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stones’ legendary frontman, may finally be ready to walk down the aisle. Insiders claim the 81-year-old rocker is preparing to take the next step in his 11-year relationship with longtime love Melanie Hamrick, 37.
Whispers of a wedding gained traction after the couple was spotted looking affectionate at an Oscars pre-party in Los Angeles. While they have downplayed marriage in the past, sources suggest the tide is turning.

According to an insider, Jagger may be planning to swap out the diamond ring he gave Hamrick in 2023 for something even more significant.
“He gave her a huge diamond ring a couple of years ago, but now the buzz is that he’s upgrading it to a proper engagement ring,” the source revealed. “They’ve been together for over a decade, and Mick couldn’t be happier—there’s no reason not to marry her.”
Despite a notorious reputation for romancing countless women, Jagger has only been married once—to Bianca Jagger from 1971 to 1978.
Hamrick, a former ballerina, has reportedly played it cool when it comes to marriage. However, insiders say it’s no secret that she would love to become Mrs. Jagger.

Hamrick has been a constant source of support for Jagger, especially during his health battles. The rock icon underwent heart valve replacement surgery in 2019 and later tested positive for COVID-19 in 2022, forcing him to cancel several concerts.
