Michelle Obama is stepping back into the public eye with a brand-new podcast, “IMO,” alongside her brother, Craig Robinson. The former first lady, who has maintained a low profile in recent months, announced the project on Monday, revealing that the show will tackle real-life questions on relationships, faith, and personal challenges.

Set to premiere on March 12, “IMO” promises in-depth discussions, lighthearted banter, and insights from high-profile guests, including Issa Rae, Jay Shetty, and Keke Palmer. Obama described the podcast as a space for open, meaningful conversations, stating that she and Robinson want to create a platform where listeners can share perspectives and explore different ways of navigating life’s complexities.

Michelle Obama Addresses Recent Absence From Public Events

The podcast launch comes amid speculation over Obama’s recent decision to skip major public events, including former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and the 2025 presidential inauguration. While Barack Obama attended both events alone, Michelle reportedly spent an extended holiday in Hawaii, fueling rumors about her withdrawal from the political scene.

Sources close to the Obamas suggest Michelle has distanced herself from Washington life since leaving the White House in 2017. Insiders claim that while she continues to support her husband’s initiatives, she has been focusing on personal endeavors and spending time away from the public eye.

Addressing Marital Speculations and Public Scrutiny

Michelle and Barack Obama have also faced renewed speculation about their marriage, with some reports suggesting they have grown apart. These claims surfaced after Michelle’s prolonged absence from major public events. However, Barack attempted to quash the rumors by posting a heartfelt tribute to Michelle on her birthday and sharing a Valentine’s Day selfie of the couple, emphasizing their enduring bond.

Despite the speculation, Michelle’s new podcast signals a fresh chapter in her career, allowing her to engage with audiences in a more personal and relatable way. “IMO” is expected to provide an intimate look into her thoughts and experiences while fostering discussions that resonate with listeners worldwide.
