Michelle Obama and Barack Obama’s divorce rumors continue to swirl online even after the ex-FLOTUS seemingly debunked the split reports recently. According to claims, the former first couple are no longer the picture-perfect spouses they once appeared to be.
Unnamed sources claimed that Barack’s “wandering eye” is to blame. Reports even said that the pair, once celebrated as the gold standard of modern political marriages, has secretly been leading separate lives.
Other insiders even suggested that Michelle and Barack’s marriage has been unraveling behind the scenes since the fall and has finally deteriorated beyond repair.
“Michelle finished with Washington and inevitably finished with Barack. She knows they can’t risk destroying their legacy with a messy, public divorce, but behind closed doors, it’s a different story,” an informant spilled to the National Enquirer.

As if that is not enough, a new revelation suggested that Barack has been “uncharacteristically distracted, and the problem is a rumored “other woman.” Spies even claimed that Michelle and Barack’s interactions have turned toxic, with one mole describing the marital exchanges as “venomous.”
Additionally, the same tattler claimed that while they present a united front in public, Michelle and Barack allegedly have heated fights in private and are full of resentment. Recent sightings of the former president enjoying dinners without Michelle fueled the fire.
“He’s adjusting to life without her. People close to them know that this has been coming for a long time,” a well-placed Beltway source told the publication.
While no concrete evidence has been found to prove that the Michelle Obama and Barack Obama divorce rumors are true, Megyn Kelly has voiced her opinion. Her podcast discussed divorce and the speculations linking Barack to Jennifer Aniston.
“There seems to be some momentum picking up in the rumor mill about their marriage,” Megyn said. She added that American writer Jessica Reed Kraus posted on her Substack that Michelle’s absence at Jimmy Carter’s funeral raised eyebrows. Still, the announcement about her not attending President Donald Trump’s inauguration “confirmed” that something was happening behind the curtains.
Blogger Meghan McCain also shared that she heard from “very serious journalists” that the speculations about Michelle and Barack getting a divorce were true. “I do not know whether this is true, but if it is, it truly would be a political earthquake in Democrat circles, never mind America. I don’t remember a presidential divorce in modern history,” she stated.
On Wednesday, Michelle took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message alongside Barack amid the ongoing divorce rumors. In her post, the former FLOTUS announced that The Obama Presidential Center would be honoring Hadiya Pendleton, a talented honor roll student whose tragic death in 2013 shocked the nation.
“To this day, I carry Hadiya’s story with me everywhere I go. She had an extraordinary light that will not be forgotten, and Barack and I look forward to honoring her memory through a dedicated space at the Obama Presidential Center,” Michelle penned in her Instagram story message. She also mentioned Barack as “my husband” in the message shared directly to center’s website.
According to some, this confirms that everything is going well between Michelle and Barack, suggesting that the ongoing divorce rumors are unfounded.
