The Trump administration is poised to revoke temporary legal status for about 240,000 Ukrainians, setting them on a fast track to deportation by April. This dramatic policy shift reverses Biden’s support for those fleeing Russia’s invasion, raising concerns amid Trump’s growing ties with Putin.

According to a report from Reuters, the conflict between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appears to be moving into a third and final stage.

This infighting culminated in an explosive televised press availability that took place last Friday, during which President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance harangued and belittled Zelensky, and then had him escorted out of the White House. The president of the United States has been engaged in a battle with the leader of the war-torn nation that Russia illegally invaded three years ago.

The news agency Reuters (via The Raw Story) reported on Thursday morning that President Trump is currently planning to revoke the temporary legal status that has been granted to around 240,000 Ukrainians. This would put these individuals on a “fast-track” to deportation, as stated by three government sources.

This decision, which is anticipated to take place as soon as April, would be a shocking reversal of the welcome that Ukrainians experienced under the administration of President Joe Biden, according to the article.

At the beginning of this week, the administration of President Trump put a halt to the shipping of weapons to the troubled nation. Additionally, they have ceased providing the much-required intelligence on Russian operations. This comes as Trump is getting closer and closer to the reign of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
