Burger King has unleashed the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper, a customer-inspired twist with Swiss cheese and creamy peppercorn aioli. Following its contest-driven success, the chain is also rolling out new side options like Churro Fries, letting customers remix their combo meals with a fresh take on fast-food classics.

Last year, Burger King broke new ground by inviting customers to design their own Whoppers in the Million Dollar Whopper Contest. The competition ended with the release of three mouthwatering Whopper sandwiches made by customers throughout the country.

Burger King is listening to its customers and is delivering on their demands with the launch of The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper on March 6, QSR shares.

Burger King discovered the Million Dollar Whopper Contest and social media comments about the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper flavor profile. It combines classic steakhouse ingredients like A.1. sauce, crispy onions, bacon, Swiss cheese, creamy peppercorn aioli, lettuce, and tomato.

This mouth-watering dish is a modern twist on an old staple that you could see at your neighborhood restaurant. However, you can now acquire one at your local BK for a short period.

“We are constantly listening to our Guests to learn how they want to customize America’s Favorite Burger, which is why we’re so excited about the new Steakhouse Bacon Whopper,” stated Christy Skylis, VP of brand marketing and culinary at Burger King US&C.

Furthermore, they stated that this innovation is the result of our enthusiastic customers and Whopper fans, and that they are looking forward to adding many more creations that were inspired by and produced by customers to the menu of Burger King later this year and in the future.

Burger King is expanding its menu offerings with a new Whopper and inviting customers to try different combinations of their favorite combo meals by offering free premium side options of the same size.

Guests may now make their very own customized dream combo lunch by adding classic French fries, onion rings, or have-sies to their preferred sandwich and soft drink. They can also choose from chicken fries, mozzarella fries, or churro fries.

“We’re taking ‘Have It Your Way’ up a notch with our Combo Combinations promotion where we’re excited for Guests to not only get their sandwich and drink their way, but also their side,” Christy Skylis added.
