Barbra Streisand is set to release a highly anticipated album of duets later this year, featuring collaborations with music icons like Ariana Grande, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Sting, and Irish singer Hozier, sources told Page Six.

The album, expected to drop in June or September, marks another milestone for the legendary singer, who continues to captivate audiences at 82.

Initial reports suggested the project might arrive earlier, in January or February, but updated timelines point to a late summer or early fall launch. When asked for confirmation, Streisand’s longtime representative, Ken Sunshine, remained coy but humorous.

He dismissed rumors of a duet with Elon Musk while praising Streisand’s vocal abilities, noting that she sings better than ever. Though details remain scarce, excitement is already building among fans and industry insiders alike.

    A Star-Studded Lineup Revealed

The album promises an impressive roster of talent. Streisand and Grande previously shared the stage in 2019 for a surprise performance of “No More Tears (Enough is Enough)” in Chicago, hinting at their musical chemistry. Meanwhile, collaborations with McCartney, Dylan, and Sting bring together some of the most iconic voices across genres.

Dylan and Streisand, notably, are the longest-running artists on Columbia Records, adding historical weight to their pairing. Hozier’s inclusion also introduces a fresh, modern voice to the mix, broadening the album’s appeal.

Speculation about the project swirled at the recent Oscars, where Grande was nominated for best supporting actress for her role as Glinda in “Wicked.” Although she lost to Zoe Saldana of “Emilia Pérez,” her presence kept Streisand’s upcoming work in the conversation.

Beyond music, Grande made headlines at the event for her affectionate moments with boyfriend Ethan Slater. The couple, who walked the red carpet separately, shared a warm embrace and held hands while chatting with “Wicked” collaborators.

    Documentary to Accompany Album Release

Sources also revealed plans for a documentary to accompany the album, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at its creation. Streisand, known for chart-topping hits like “Guilty,” reportedly hopes this project will secure another No. 1 spot on the charts. Her enduring influence in the industry, paired with such a diverse lineup, positions the album as a potential blockbuster.

For now, anticipation continues to grow as listeners await official confirmation and a firm release date. Streisand’s ability to bridge generations through music remains unmatched. With this new collection of duets, she seems poised to deliver yet another memorable chapter in her storied career. Fans eager for more celebrity updates can follow along as details unfold in the coming months.
