Marquise Jackson, the estranged son of rapper 50 Cent, has again ignited controversy after posting a cryptic video on social media. His message, which appeared mocking, quickly led fans to believe he was taking a shot at his father.

Sitting in a dimly lit room, Jackson addressed viewers directly with a message that left many questioning his intent. Speaking in a serious yet sarcastic tone, he reflected on the idea of people believing they are special.

“I woke up today with this overwhelming thought in my head. Something told me to share this message because I feel like there are people out there who need to hear it. You thought you were special. Who told you that? You really thought you were special,” he said, breaking into laughter and pointing at the camera.

While Jackson did not name anyone directly, social media users immediately speculated that he was targeting 50 Cent.

The strained relationship between Jackson and 50 Cent has played out publicly for years. Jackson has often voiced his disappointment over his father’s absence from his life. In past interviews, he has stated that even a one-on-one sit-down with the rapper would not be enough to repair their fractured bond.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent has rarely held back when addressing his son in interviews or social media posts. He has previously suggested that his son is too influenced by those who oppose him, leading to their continued disconnect.

Jackson’s latest video quickly sparked debate among fans. Some pointed out how much he resembles his father, both in looks and delivery. One user commented, “He hates that man, but acts just like him.” Others suggested that their similarities are precisely why they struggle to get along.

One fan speculated, “How do you think my daddy loved you when he don’t even love me?” while another wrote, “They can’t get along because they’re too much alike.”

While his son was making waves online, 50 Cent was also drawing attention for his reaction to the death of music executive Irv Gotti. The rapper posted an image of himself smoking hookah next to a gravestone engraved with “RIP” and captioned it, “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack, nah God bless him LOL.”

The phrase “smoking on __ pack” is a well-known slang term used to mock someone who has passed away, and many viewed the post as a continuation of 50 Cent’s decades-long feud with Gotti.

As for Jackson’s video, neither he nor 50 Cent responded directly to the speculation. However, given their history, fans are expecting more drama between father and son shortly.
